Jared Alfin: July's Monthly Speaker
This month’s featured speaker, Jared Alfin, is a seasoned litigator known for his strategic problem-solving and aggressive advocacy. He represents small to mid-sized businesses, private lenders, and property owners in a wide range of matters—including commercial contract disputes, real estate litigation, landlord-tenant issues, and debt collections. Jared has recovered hundreds of thousands for clients through asset attachments and garnishments, and has successfully defended clients in cases involving the CT Department of Banking and the SEC. His responsiveness and client-first approach make him a trusted advisor and fierce advocate in and out of court.
Stephanie Ma:
Stephanie Ma focuses her practice on real estate, commercial transactions, corporate law, and landlord-tenant matters. She handles everything from residential closings to complex commercial deals and zoning issues, and advises clients on business formation, acquisitions, leases, contracts, and trademarks. Stephanie has extensive experience in housing court, representing both landlords and tenants in residential and commercial disputes. She serves on the Connecticut Advisory Council on Housing Matters and the Board of Directors for Elm City College Preparatory Schools and is proficient in Cantonese.
Louis George:
Louis George is a founding partner of Hassett & George, P.C., with a versatile legal background spanning administrative hearings to the Supreme Court. With over 15 years focused on advising businesses, entrepreneurs, and real estate developers, Lou also leads the firm’s personal injury practice and zoning and land use team. His litigation experience includes defending complex claims involving malpractice, product liability, and class action suits. He has represented Fortune 500 companies and was among the first attorneys in Connecticut to litigate breast implant cases. Deeply involved in the Greater Hartford community, Lou serves on several nonprofit boards and has held numerous civic and leadership roles in Simsbury.
